Yesterday Wednesday, 01.27.2016 was the conclusion of the second season of the Entrepreneurship Competition in Jeddah, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah AlJlowi declaring the winning projects which are:
For the Development of Health & Education Category
Eman Othman – Hanan Ka’aki
Ghadeer Al Ghathalan
For Community & Social Work Category
Haneen Ali – Rahaf Al Shami – Heba Dahaan
For Production & Manufacturing Category
First Place went to two Projects:
Abaya’s and garments factory – Khadija Anani
Team Rock, Paper, Scissors – Janna Ba’arma – Rula Badkuk – Rafah Sahab
The final day of the event commenced with dialogue sessions, the session addressed the challenges facing entrepreneurship that was managed by business woman Manar Al Rawi, also participating in the discussion was Dr. Abd AlKarim Junaidi and Mr. Mohamed Fitaihi. Another session was moderated by Mr. Abd Al Aziz Al-Zaid and included both Mr. Ali Al Othaim Chairman of the National Business for Youth Council, and Mr. Mohammad Sweileh Chairman of the Committee for the Youth Businessmen in Jeddah, and Ms. Noha Al Yousuf Chairman of the Business Women Youth in Jeddah, and Ms. Anoud Al Rimah Head of Women’s Youth Saudi Business Council, the discussion was on entrepreneurs and commissions of young men and women businesses. Each contestant presented her project one final time as well.
Ms. Sofana Dahlan spoke about the National Initiative for Innovation and the importance of supporting creative young Saudis. Mr. Ziad Al-Bassam spoke about the importance of nurturing the entrepreneurship sector.
The event was concluded with His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah AlJlowi honoring the winners and the most outstanding projects and corporate sponsors and media partners for the event.
Ms. Sarah Al Ayed had made it clear in an earlier interview with Arab Woman Mag that the winning projects in each category will receive the amount of a hundred thousand Riyals and 25 thousand Riyals for most distinguished projects. Ms.Sarah went on to confirming the importance of the competition as it is a national project that should be developed each year to give the opportunity for young women to become an integral part of the business community.
