Peanut-almond cookies  

 

What goes in:

1cup homemade Peanut butter (or store-bought but without preservatives)

1cup homemade Almond butter (or store-bought but without preservatives)

2 tablespoons raw brown sugar

1 tablespoon milled flaxseeds

1 egg

2 tablespoons pure date syrup

 

This is how we do it:

At room temperature, mix the peanut and almond butter together with all the other ingredients. Fold in ingredients one at a time to ensure that everything is mixed in well and there are no lumps. Refrigerate for about an hour so that the dough gets a bit firm. Take the dough out and roll it into small balls by hand. Flatten on a baking paper to form a cookie shape. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 for about 20-30 mins or until done. Store in an airtight container and enjoy.
