When study mice were exposed to two hours of silence per day, the animals actually grew new cells in the brain area connected to memory, emotion and learning. Meaning silence generates new cells unlike noise which raises stress levels and has negative effect on ones heart.
Practicing minutes of silence daily can actually improve your memory, emotion regulation and thinking skills
(1) Before you sleep or when you wake up , take 3 minutes in bed of utter silence with images of water falls or pure greenery.
(2) Take time in your prayer (Sujud ) and don’t lift your head up till you feel emotionally settled.
(3) After prayer take time to sit and repeat God’s names as you envision the effect of this name on your life.
