Towards highlighting the Lebanese and Arab women’s position in the world and under the theme “WHAT NEXT…?”The 3rd World Women Leadership Congress & Award (WWLCA) was scheduled on the 17th of February, 2016 at TAJ Lands End, Mumbai. Mrs. Lamice Joujou, Founder and CEO of My Doll & Me, has been honored for her strategic and influential role among various women leaders, and been presented with the “Women Entrepreneur Leadership Award”.
Lamice Joujou was recognized for her efficient management role and her commitment to providing innovative and leading concepts according to the highest standards and specifications, not to mention the individual excellence which is based on the development and empowerment of girls through the creation of the most influential factors enabling them to grow beyond their potential and the existing cultural stereotypes, for their own good and the good of their community.
According to FORBES, Inc., more than half (58) of the women on the Forbes 100 list were American. Asia-Pacific citizens made the second strongest showing at 23. Latin America and the Middle East had five regional on the list, and there were four Europeans and Africans. The objective of the WWLCA was to identify and celebrate the outstanding leadership and achievements demonstrated by Women leaders who are reflected by their distinct innovations and initiative brought in by them in various private and public sectors and philanthropists. The WWLCA committee praised the outstanding and efficient performance of Mrs. Lamice Joujou all through providing an innovative growth within the services of My Doll & Me.
“We are pleased to confer the Women Entrepreneur Leadership Award to you at the WWLC 2016 on the 17th of February, at TAJ Lands End, Mumbai,” Dr. R.L Bhatia announced. “The award is conferred to the Outstanding Women Professionals who have the vision, flair, acumen and professionalism to demonstrate their excellent leadership and management skills in an organization / institution, making changes and achieving results,” he added.
Mrs. Lamice Joujou stated: “It is more than an honor, to be recognized, in such a global event, encompassing women leaders from all around the globe. Listening to these women stories, struggles and successes was a revelation and a drive enabling me to push myself even more and serve my community as much as possible” Joujou added “Women are a very powerful asset in every society, and especially Lebanon, as Lebanese women are educated, strong and talented, so women by all means need to participate more actively in rising up their community to higher standards, and we can!”
It had been noted that out of the 400 women present at The 3rd World Women Leadership Congress & Award (WWLCA), only 2 Arab women were honored by an award, a lady from the U.A.E and Mrs. Lamice Joujou from Lebanon.
The Women Leadership Award recognizes and appreciates the profound role played by women as leaders, executioners, and decision makers, in shaping the future of the region and nation, and who embody the qualities of leadership in displaying active, creative, and integrative efforts in achieving the best possible results in the national and regional development plans.
